過去と未来は一人で探索することはできません！友達と一緒に、アルバート・ヴァンダーブームにまつわる謎の断片をつなぎ合わせていきましょう。様々なパズルを解くために周りにあるものを相手に伝えて助け合いながら、世界を異なる視点で探索してください。

『The Past Within』はRusty Lakeの謎めいた世界を舞台にした、協力プレイのみに対応したポイント＆クリック形式のアドベンチャーゲームです。

Awesome for lone players too!

I know it’s intended as a two-person game, but I play games by myself so at first I was very upset that it’s a co-op game. The I tried and downloaded the game on two of my devices and played alone, which is still awesome!! The new 3D style is completely unexpected and fantastic! Must took a lot of time and effort to make it so smooth. What I like the most about this game is the “reuse” of tricks (spoiler alert maybe?), where one gimmick is used more than once in different part of the story. You don’t see that very often in puzzle games and it’s just plain awesome. One thing not so satisfactory is that the butterfly mode and bee mode don’t really differ (another spoiler alert…). You see two modes, you are gonna expect different experiences. But overall Rusty Lake still make the best puzzle games out there! I play a lot of escape/puzzle games, and usually there’s some weaknesses, maybe the plot, the user interaction, the logic, etc., but Rusty Lake almost never has such flaws! You are just heightening my expectation for your next game!

What I don’t like about Rust Lake games is how hard it is to get the achievements though… never get to get all of them, except for Root (where I cheated and went online for answers…). Makes my game experience kinda incomplete, but still wonderful;)

Very creative

As a fan I have to say the style of the past within is very risky and creative. It feels like Rusty Lake is trying to break through the old patterns, and it really demands courage and patience. To be honest I kind of looking forward to another Rusty-lake-styled game, but the past within is not bad. Whereas the plot is a bit weak to me, but…we all know there must have some Easter eggs waiting to be found :)

待ちに待った新作…！

蝶の過去と未来を終えたところですが、楽しいです。オペレーション:タンゴのようなゲームを想定していましたが、まさにそれ系のゲームな感じ。近くにいる人かマイクを使って遠くの人と2人で協力して謎解き。Rusty Lakeらしい世界観なので、慣れていない人にはグロイと感じる部分もあるかも？でも今のところ気持ち悪い虫とかでてないし、ボリュームはそんなにありませんが、購入して良かったです！
