Video Star 12+

I’ve been using this app for awhile now, and I can say that I’ve enjoyed and made great edits with it, but with the most recent update, with “bug improvements” somehow made the bugs and crashes even worse?? Everytime I use multi-layer, the app crashes, and goes back to my homescreen. I restarted my phone and turned it off and on like what the instructions said, but it doesn’t fix anything, the multi-layer crash keeps happening over and over again, so I literally can’t use the app anymore. I even updated my phone’s software, deleted videostar, and downloaded it again, and made my phone’s storage even more empty, but none worked. I really like making edits in this app, so please don’t make it so that I won’t be able to use it anymore due to bugs and crashes.

I really love Video Star, its one if those editing apps that doesnt show the watermark without purchasing some premium pass thing. But, other than that its a bit of a shame how much money you need to spend to unlock special features. Such as multi layer and motion blur, which are both quite common in video editing apps and mostly free. I kinda hard to edit something without spending a least a few bucks and its kinda disappointing.. If you were new to editing and would rather not spend money to get all these features, I’d rather you use capcut or something.

Hi Videostar staff! I know this might seem very selfish at the moment just after a new update but I have a few suggestions to improve video star personally from my experiences. As someone who creates edits I would suggest that you make something for shadows, instead of users using ‘outline fuzzy’ they can direct the shadows in any angle (move the shadow more to the right or left or upside or downside). I also would like to suggest maybe more shape masks? Example maybe a flower shape mask because some editors do a ‘typo/candy style’ which they use lots of decorations to make their edits interesting. That’s all I can think of right now! Thank you if you see this!! Oh and I forgot to mention (this is the most selfish suggestion and I believe it would be quite difficult!!) maybe try and make the twixtor a little smoother if you really want to, I find that the twixtor is a little more of a fade in fade out thing instead of something like a warp? (For people who edit anime/cartoons, it’s more difficult to make smooth since there are less frames to work with/ more movement in a frame than normal recorded videos). Also if you would like an example of the warped effect, there is an app called ‘timefreeze’ which is quite effective at showing that. I think that you probably should ignore my twixtor suggestion because it does take a long while to create warped twixtor though.
