This version includes a critical bug fix that was preventing users from getting into the app during the onboarding process.

Confirmation Bias Heaven

The app description is blatantly false. It is not a place for unbiased social interaction.

Now, it is a place for orphaned conservative trolls and sheeple that are either mad Trump got booted from Twitter, or are not satisfied with other social media services that do allow a more than reasonable flow of information from both socio-political extremes.

If you are a social scientist, a psychologist, or any other academic researcher interested in studying how human beings under a peculiar amount of delusion interact, then this app is great. Use sparingly as it will sap your hope for humanity, otherwise, good luck, and take plenty of showers after use.

If you are Japanese, and are hoping to make new friends and practice English, I don’t recommend Parler. It is likely your English grammar level will be higher, and (at any rate), the opinions of most may destroy any respect you may have had for America, if any was left.

Dark patterns

Seems they start right off the bat with immoral dark patterns. The network posts on your behalf when you join. Big no, right off the bat.

Then notifications spam you automatically from the pages you follow.

That’s my five cents from one minute of using the app. And the transition effect on photos when you drag is just insane. Who would think them scaling up like that is a good thing :) that cracked me up more than anything

Being a free speech alternative network doesn’t mean it can be anything.

一度退会すると

再入会出来なくなります。
メールアドレスと携帯番号を入力しなければなりませんが、CAPTCHAの画面で「同じメールアドレスまたは携帯番号のユーザーが存在します」と表示され、はじかれます。
メールアドレスは変えられますが携帯番号はそう簡単には変えられません。
適当な番号を入力しても携帯あてに確認用のSMSが送られてくるのでダメです。
サポートに問い合わせると、旧アカウントのメールアドレスからの問い合わせでないと対応できない、と言われますが、そのメールアドレスで問い合わせても同じ事を言われます。
結局携帯番号を変えない限り再入会出来ません。
